July 2027 - 100 FULL-COLOR pages

CBC proudly presents our bonus-size 100-page 50th issue ($12.95) explaining "Why We Love Kirby," talking with top pros and historians on the impact Jack “King” Kirby has made in all of our lives as a storyteller, artist, and human being. Coinciding with The Jack Kirby Collector #100 this month, CBC editor Jon B. Cooke and TJKC editor John Morrow sit down for a discussion about the meaning of Kirby and legacy of TwoMorrows Publishing, with a glimpse of “TwoMorrow” via an excerpt of the amazing Kirby Koncordance these two chums are planning to compile in their twilight years! Also: Part one of our talk with artist extraordinaire Brendan McCarthy on early work with Brett Ewins and Peter Milligan, and breaking into 2000 AD! Additionally, we honor the wonderful ’80s series ’Mazing Man, talking with creators Stephen DeStefano and Bob Rozakis about their charming creation. Also included is Shaun Clancy’s revealing conversation with Bob Sproul about his father’s Major Magazines, publisher of Cracked, Web of Horror, and Monsters Attack; and part two of Marvel Bullpen cut-up Stu Schwartzberg’s interview. And, of course, Fred Hembeck!
