Today, I’m really missing my good friend Joe. The attached piece from his funeral service this week beautifully sums up what I, and so many others, loved about him.

I’m deeply saddened to report that BrickJournal founder/editor Joe Meno died today (February 11), after a battle with prostate cancer. I take comfort in knowing he was surrounded by his loving family, and passed peacefully.
Joe’s been a dear friend since we first met in 1988, long before I knew he had any interest in LEGO. He was such a kind and fun-loving person, and was very inspirational to me, with an unceasingly positive attitude for as long as I’ve known him, even throughout his cancer fight.
I plan to complete his final issue of BrickJournal (#92), as I know he wanted. If you have personal recollections of Joe you’d like to share for that issue, please email them to me at twomorrow@aol.com
