Remember when comics were fun in Back Issue #77

BI24_COV

Editor Michael Eury takes us back to the days when comics were fun (remember those?) in Back Issue #77, which ships this week. Stuff like Plastic Man, Blue Devil, Star Comics, normalman, goofy Superman stories of the Bronze Age, and more are spotlighted, in an issue that’s sure to make even the most jaded comics fan smile. You can find it here.

Two new, just for you

AE49 Trial Cover.qxdDraw29_MED

Due to a shipping delay, we just got our copies of Alter Ego #129 and Draw #29 in-house. So our mailing house is working frantically to get both in the mail to US subscribers, while we scramble to get the First Class and foreign copies of both shipped out, while keeping up with our regular daily orders.

Sorry for the unavoidable delay, but both are great issues, and should be in stores next Wednesday.

The Kirby Family and Marvel settle things

A joint statement issued today says:

“Marvel and the family of Jack Kirby have amicably resolved their legal disputes, and are looking forward to advancing their shared goal of honoring Mr. Kirby’s significant role in Marvel’s history.”

That’s all I know. I imagine more will be revealed in coming days, but sounds like it’s time for us all to celebrate. Congratulations to both Marvel and the Kirby family on finding a way to put this dispute behind them.
